The Inauguration Party # 1

I've been so excited for January to come so that I could start planning my inauguration party for President-Elect Obama...

And after much thought, my brother, bf & I came up with a fitting title,
The "bring it home Barrack" bash - "Because Barrack deserves to be baracked-in from this side of the globe, too!"

What food do you think I should serve?

Anyone else having a party or attending one?

Such a momentous occasion! Shall keep you posted on proceedings...

I'm having one too! In London. I am serving chocolate brownies, blueberry muffins, and playing Bruce Springsteen as the soundtrack. And a journalist friend is going to compile an election quiz. I'm going to have some You Tube clips playing in the background, and am going to stick key quotes on the wall. I went to NY for the election, so I have quite a few newspapers from the day after he won. I'd love to hear any other ideas! I was going to get more complicated and make chilli and cornbread but have decided to keep it simple.

Hi :)

Exchanging links means that I put the link of your blog on my blog (in the blog reads list) and you put mine on yours :)

I've linked you, anyway :) hehe.
Have fun!

Thanks for commenting - but I just had to share with you an idea I was just given - to have a Hawaiian theme! I have to say that would never have occurred to me in a million years, but now I am thinking of flower garlands, Hawaiian shirts and everything - which would probably work a lot better in your warm climate! Thanks for the music link - am definitely checking that out.
